Come on......
What's there to schedule????
A GSM Monopoly? People need choice, it is that simple.
As Thomas Jefferson put so well: "Freedom is the right to choose, the right to create for oneself the alternative of choice."
...
Allowing this merger will remove one choice..Not good for the consumer..
...
Good job with the quoting!

hmmm we'd be left with 2 major carriers and 1 small.....the other carriers don't matter as they aren't competition and probably will never be; especially if this goes through. We will be forced to choose between overprice option 1 or 2 or opt for sub par service. Sounds like the only debate is who in the govt needs to be paid off so they agree to this.

Yes, please. (Whole slew of hands stuck out) AT&T knows that it is going to take a load of cash to pull this off! But clearly they are all in so no matter how much *Bleep* has to be kissed...they brought plenty of chapstick. Unfortunately they won't spare any KY for the consumer once they get this thing approved and start banging down the walls.

The plans will go to HELL if AT&T Mobility does not blend in T-Mobiles plans when if at all the merger is finalized.
Customer after T-Mobile customer I speak with vehemently express that if ANYTHING about their plans change, they will be jumping to either Verizon, Sprint, or an MVNO.
They do not want to have their plans grandfathered. That still ties the noose around their necks and if they make one move, they still choke.
...
Well then they better get ready to go to Sprint then. Verizon would be a piss poor excuse to go to. Might as well stay with AT&T. They will be clones by then what with Verizon bringing tiered data this summer. I've already talked one family member out of going to Verizon in favor of Sprint for a MiFi.

Every day since the merger was announced, I have had at least one T-Mobile customer come to my Sprint kiosk and say they'd rather die than give one single dollar to AT&T.
Win for Sprint!
And for y'all still bashing Sprint's coverage - give it a fair shot. Sure, it used to be lousy. But that was so three years ago.
I had Big Red for 9 years, and just switched (after 2 years of working for Sprint!), and I have yet to find somewhere my Verizon feature phone worked where my Evo Shift doesn't - and I'm paying less for it!!
Win for Miss Chris! 🙂
