So true.

"Keep in mind, a majority of our customers select a two-year contract when buying our devices, so we are responding to what our customers want."

As if they haven't made it very distasteful for people to sign them.

When I worked at VZW our manager told us "You don't do one year contracts. If they insist tell them to call 800 number." It was bad for our metrics.

Think of all the ink they will save by not printing 1 year AGREEMENT Price on the sales collateral.

US Cellular has one and done contracts. after the first contract you never have to sign another one even when you get an upgrade on you phone after 18 months.

Beleive what you want. The Belief Project does not require you to sign another Contract after the first.

How soon before they get taken over? If the FCC will allow AT&T to become enormous you know Verizon is going to be looking at U.S. Cellular like a wolf slobbering at the sight of a nice fat sheep.

Now this is something i didn't think of. i knew sprint wasn't something that the V wouldn't be interested in, but USCC would have a target on its back and it'd be huge!

I always thought Alltel/U.S. Cellular would have been a great match. Two regional carriers who could create a super regional carrier if not a national one. I know when I was in Oklahoma one of the two times my phone has ever gone into Extended Network I was picking up U.S. Cellular. Please don't let them get eaten up.

Better chance the FCC would allow that to happen than the AT&T/T-Mobile buyout...

Talk about spin! "We are just giving customers what they want." Talk about BS. What they are really saying is "giving customers options is no longer an option."
