Stock Android FTW!
Right..that's why ill get it. It's supposed to follow the same upgrade path as the g2, which means it'll be one the first phones to get the updates after the nexus phones 🙂

the g2 doesnt have a stock android OS tho

Yeah, it is basically stock. There is no skin overlay, and no sense. Just 2.2 with almost no bloatware. 🙂

Just 2.2? 2.3 Gingerbread has been out since last year, so why not come out with that version right from the gate? But I'd let that pass as being stock Android, the upgrade could come soon. I'd not let it pass, however, if the phone was not designed to take advantage of the fastest CDMA speed available from T-Mo, now 20, and 40 Mbps by summer.

Its capable of 14.4 mbps which is more than enough.
Other than Googles nexus phones there is no phone that has been released or upgraded to 2.3 yet... its sad.
...
IMO there are no exciting features in 2.3
All the exciting features came in 2.2, such as the ability to store apps to memory card. These smartphones all have an extremely insufficient amount of internal memory.
