non-removable battery??? ugh, nokia is taking design cues from apple now? how annoying. that and the fact that the camera isn't auto-focus are the only real major downfalls to the hardware. otherwise a very impressive phone.

I said it before and I repeat again: Nokia makes splendid pieces of hardware. But at this price and running Symbian... NO WAY!
(Also at this price I would expect a faster processor)

I'm always curious when people say this. Perspectives like this treat the number at which a processor speed is rated as the end all, be all without taking into account anything else. That would be akin to assuming that a vehicle with a 500-hp engine is automatically faster than one with a 350-hp engine without factoring in anything else.

Doesn't it matter what type of vehicle the engine is powering? If the 500-hp engine is in a 7000 pound dually pickup while the 350-hp engine is in a 3200 pound Corvette, doesn't that make a difference?

The same principle applies here. Symbian is much more power efficient than any other widespread mob...

Quality of processor is also a factor. I mean, if you have a 1GHZ processor and it's top of the line (like Nokia would probably use) then yeah, it would make a HUGE difference. Plus, the processor comment was a side thought at the end of his post.

Symbian is a dead OS. Yeah, it is a solid OS, but I am GLAD nokia is putting out a WP7.
