Naw...It would cost too much money for Verizon to support USCC's network versus just keeping a roaming agreement between the two. That and USCC is still a fairly profitable provider. They wouldn't agree to a buyout without a hostile takeover.

Hmmm it has puzzled me why U.S. Cellular is still in existence. I guess the problem is they're still profitable hence why they haven't going crying to the big boys for help yet. But they will sooner or later.
