Microsoft Targeting NFC for Next Version of Windows Phone
Why not get the OS up to par first?

Not a single colleague of mine has anything positive to say about their Windows 7 phones....this was touted as the next big thing but seems to have lost all interest by mobile consumers. NFC will be the worst can of worms to be opened up here......it works well in Asia but there's something about the ease of passing your phone over a sensor to pay for something..
Seems like they are more interested in the European/Asian market than they are in the US market. Oh well if thats what they want then let them stay in those areas and out of the US market. Didnt seem to get Symbian very far. The biggest winners, Android and iOS work more in the US market and look where they are at.
I am a former owner of the Nokia N95-3. A handset that when it was new was way, way ahead of it's time.
Bring it on I say! My smartphone has replaced my calculator, alarm clock, calender, mp3 player, and not too much longer it will replace my debit card.
People who are skeptics are old hags! Move FORWARD, or get STUCK in the past!
