So many Verizon folks have been begging for a color v60 for... well, forever, it seems. Now it's finally announced and no one has anything to say? 😕 C'mon - this is great news for all you v60 lovers! 🙂 Someone must have an opinion...

ok rich...

i loved the v60 series phones, they WERE top ofthe line
but now so many more needs and wants have come out for phones. with all the pushbacks moto has done with almost all of there phones, we are lucky if we see these ptt phones by xmas!
and what carrier would these phones have?
and if they are like verizons, etc. version of ptt, will it be as crapy? the only ptt i think is worth getting is nextel

The T300p will definitely be for Verizon, and it looks like the V65p as well.

The negative things about Verizon's PTT - delay and battery life - are due more to the overall technology and network than the phone. I doubt new phones will improve much on that.

Perhaps Verizon will eventually give up on their current PTT technology and go the Kodiak route like Alltel. Kodiak's technology supposedly delivers performance much closer to Nextel. We can only hope... 😉

I'm happy that they are introducing a color V6O series phone.

I had the V60p all up until a week ago when I decided I had enough of the 2-color display and switched over to the T730c instead.

When the V65P comes out, I will probably switch back to PTT.

I heard from various sources and during PTT Group calls in the past that Verizon is going to do overhauling on their PTT system. I would guess that the overhauling would require PTT 1X to be out in areas for some time- which might explain why Verizon is trying NOT to sell V60P phones, NOT introducing the new models, NOT introducing new plans, while offering unlimited Mobile to mobile calling.

The NEW, revised PTT- if what they say is so (who knows for sure, right?) is expected to ...
