Yay Sprint
I think I just wet myself......... 🤣

Wow! Imagine the poor battery life!
...
battery was updated so we will see, despite that I can always buy a slim extended battery like I did for my EVO so I'm not worried 🙂
...
The asynchronous processing is to aid battery life.
...
Correct...asynchronous processing's biggest plus is the boost in battery life. No other dual core has this feature yet either.
...
I'm not sure I understand all the benefits of the asynchronous processor. Please enlighten me.
...
No, actually, the battery life should be decent.
First, it has a huge battery. It's over 1700 mAh.
Second, the dual-core processor has asynchronous power management, meaning each core only runs as fast as it needs to. So if you only need one core, you only use one core worth of power. If you need 1 1/2 cores, one will run at full power and the other at half. Other dual-core mobile processors (cough, Tegra, cough) don't do that.

Thanks for explaining Rich. This is definetly good to know.
Seems as though the Evo is still King over the Thunderbolt.
...
I don't have to imagine poor battery life... If I buy a Thunderbolt from VZW. You know, the EVO rippoff that has horrible battery life and no 4G toggle? Yeah that's the one.
...
Well, it seems like the Evo will remain King over the Thunderbolt. I so, so much wish there was a smartphone coming out with identical specs to the Evo 3D but with a slide-out keyboard and 4 inch screen instead of 4.3.
