Looks worse than 4400
compare using phonescoop with the 4400 - it has less features, some of them key - mainly no analog

the only feature (if it can be reffered to it as a feature ) IS that the phone the phone does not have analog, after that the 4500 has MORE features than the 4400. I really dont understand why SO many people get their feathers ruffled about the no analog part when almost ALL phones are all digital. I travel pretty frequently with my I700 (digital only phone, first I ever owned)and I never missed the analog "feature". Furthermore, we are going to see more and more phones come out with digital only..so everyone better start getting used to it..I am, analog is going the way of the dinasour... 😉

I agree...my 6000 actually gets better reception than my 4400 did.
All analog does is get in the way of your digital signal when you're in an area with a weak signal.
I can count the # of times on one hand that I've had no signal with my ALL digital phone.
If the speaker phone works well on the 4500, they'll fly off the shelf.

Alrite! The 4400 was a good color phone! but i do not miss the ANALOG feature at all i could never use it when it was in analog! i just got the 6000 on dec 8 and i get a way better signal than i did when i had my 4400 when it was forced to be all digital. so i can place money on it that the 4500 was way better than the 4400.

Some people are just missing the point. I've had the 4500 for 2 days now and the 1st thing I can say is "I love this phone". As for the looks, to say it looks worse than the 4400 that's a personal opinion and if you don't know what opinions are like you don't need to be posting period.
Likes: The speaker phone is great, no problems hearing driving down the road and I have the Ram HEMI rumbling all around me. The other person can hear me better than they could when I used my previous phone next to my face. I keep this phone a few feet out and no problems. As for the voice dialing, it also works well. The screen & feel, no complaints other than you can't get the VERIZON WIRELESS off the middle of the screen. Overall happy and plan ...
