It still took them too long in my opinion.

Far too long. Not entirely sure why there was even a hesitancy to begin with.

Like the previous comment stated, "why the hesitancy". 😕
I guess the Catherine Zeta-Jones replacement was worried she was not going to get her fuschia polka-dot dresses dry-cleaned in time for the next TV commercial shoot. 😎

After speaking with a few reps in their international customer care dept., I was advised I'd receive a call later from a supervisor. About 20 minutes after the original call ended, supervisor calls me, I provide her the details, and she states her supervisor will get back to me the next day as she could not confirm PS's claims. We recieved communication of the free calls at noon this afternoon. Free text messages both to normal numbers and short codes was communicated to us on Friday. So any further calls for this issue should not meet with the same confusion.

I think they took to long too, but we must consider things in Japan to, there are to much chaos so even with free calls probably our love ones in Japan would not be answering calls.
T Mobile did, late, but they did it finally so good for the people who had T Mobile, the benefit it's for them.
