Why can't ATT...
Idk dude. They never announced were i live as 4g but i average around 4mbps but when i actually go to the 4g area they list i get 6 or a little higher average. How many cities att have covered soo far?
...
ATT claims 75 cities will be covered with LTE by the end of this year.

HSPA+ is deployed over AT&T's entire "3G" network footprint right now. The speeds are all dependent on the backhaul though. I can get 5+ Mbps on my device right now. In areas where the backhaul isn't there, I still am at like 1.5 Mbps.

What device are you using?

I was wondering the same thing!

I felt the same exact way 3 frinkin years ago,...I guess I have too high standards for ATT. . .so I left, almost a a full year ago.
And I won't consider going back to ATT cause I feel 2GB data plans render smartphones useless. There are quite a few apps that have video features, and video uses more data than regular graphical stuff. But more than 2GB's/mo on ATT costs tooooo much.
I just feel higher speeds are useless if the higher speeds can't be used for what higher speeds are most beneficial for,...video.

I agree with you on the data cap. I wish AT&T would atleast offer an OPTION for 5GB (which I guess is the industry standard anyway) for smartphone users who actually use their smartphones to the fullest extent, and by that I don't mean that I tether the heck out of it or stream videos, music, and tv all the time. Right now, its mainly my work phone of sorts, regarding me using emails, documents and attachments, communication and so forth. And just those activities consume atleast 2.5 to 3 gigs. Yea i know its hard for some to believe I use that much, but I do.
Well, there's my rant.

My billing cycle ends on the 24th, and this is how much I've used thus far.
