Stocks are for greedy people in lower Manhattan. As a consumer I care about speed, speed, and more speed. So long as the rumors result in more speed, then I'm happy!

This is an interesting point. Public companies have legal obligations to do what is in their shareholders best interest. A shareholder may or may not be a Sprint consumer for example.

What a Sprint consumer might want and what a Sprint shareholder might want can be conflicting. Tough to find that balance and make everyone happy but every corporation has to somehow.

Very diplomatic. In my opinion, there is no balance. The share holders are Sprint's number one concern.
