As long as we keep talking LTE to Clear...then YES.

...if we decide to run both Wimax and LTE, say Wimax for embedded devices, and LTE for phones then I'm all for it.

Wimax is not on vendors priority list anymroe to manufacture for, considering all the carriers in the US and most of the carriers abroad are deplying LTE.

Ergo, leave the Wimax to the laptops and stuff, get LTE up for phones.

Staying with Wimax now not only hurts us, but continues to hurt us, and when Clearwire goes under from no extra financial backing then it's bye bye Sprint 4G...period.

Its okay... if Sprint managed to stay a float after posting net losses for so many quarters, then I don't see why Clear can't do that as well lol.

I finally get it. You are the only one allowed to have an opinion, good or bad, about Sprint.

"I finally get it. You are the only one allowed to have an opinion, good or bad, about Sprint."

What is it now, kid? At first you stated that I follow you around which is patent nonsense. Now your feelings are hurt so bad that you are willing to smile as someone bags on your beloved Sprint because I didn't think their comment was funny. I guess I have a problem with Slammer's every Sprint comment or AJ's as well? I don't agree with their every comment. Hell I even agree with DiamondPro every now and then. The difference is adults can agree to disagree. I'm going to agree to disagree with you, too. I won't comment to any of your posts in the future EXCEPT t...

Sounds good to me, Stroker. I'm looking forward to some peace and quiet. Your blood pressure should level off a bit as well.

I just noticed you called me "kid".

I'm 36. I have a wife and three kids of my own. I have a Master's degree and make a great living.
Not a kid...

"My beloved" Sprint...
No man, just pointing out the irony. You like to rag on Sprint as well. I've seen you do it. Then you turn around and act like it's a sin for anyone else to do it... which was the point of my post. Apparently you think you are the only person allowed to have an opinion either way. You attack me when I defend Sprint. You attacked this guy for ragging Sprint. Looks like we've figured out you just like to attack people...especially me.
Let's get real here... how many posts do I make that DON'T have some lame little comment from you attached to it?
Sure man, "adults ...

1. Sprint started out with much deeper pockets and subscribers to lose, and 2. CLEAR IS SPRINT!! Sprint bought Clearwire and merged it with their Xohm division forming Clear as a separate entity the way they rebranded their land line service Embarq and moved it down one floor in the tower, calling it its own company before it was picked up by CenturyTel. they took the initial 51% ownership not because they couldnt afford the extra $2.3 billion to own the company outright, but because it all looked better on paper that way, and still gave them ownership control over Xohm/Clearwire/Clear.

revisiting this comment in light of todays news... Not only did "majority shareholder" look better on paper, but it also lessened their liability in the even of something like oh, todays lawsuit, WiMAX failing, etc.. theyre letting Clear sweat off all the extra fat before they swoop in and buy the network infrastructure and spectrum at bargain basement pricing. It looks like they're gonna wait it out right up until the bankruptcy filing, how sad, really.

The article seems to think LTE isn't exactly the open option...

“every option” for Sprint’s future involves the wholesaler and fourth-generation WiMax technology.
