It's just a rumor. I don't see Sprint giving DT an equal voice in a merged entity so I do not believe it will happen.

DT opened the door at 50%... probably settle for slightly less giving Sprint a controling stake. In all probability, this will end up being something along the lines of what verizon and vodaphone have going.
Sorry you didn't see it, but it wasn't hard to notice if you were looking.

If DT thinks the role of silent partner that Vodaphone has with Verizon Communications is desirable then I guess you are right. Get back to me when it happens. Until then it hasn't and until then you are still wrong.

Haterade looks good on you bro...
If I'm so wrong, why comments from DT saying they want to sell to Sprint and have a 50 percent share in the new company? Why would Bloomberg report it as a reliable news story? Why would phonescoop put the article on their site? Why do you have an irrational fear and hatred of me? Personally I'm guessing it's straight hate.... it pisses you off something fierce that someone you hate on was rightabout something and you didn't know about it first. I told you months ago that I don't work for sprint but I do well financially when they do well... should give u a giant hint as to how I would know about a possible merger or sale long before you....
Deal with it how you like but I'm sure it will include trying to convince everyone(yourself included) I'm full of ****... even though the proof is staring you in the face.

No. He is a troll. I post. He follows. He doesn't like not being the formost authority on all things Sprint. He acts like he is the only one who is allowed to talk about Sprint and everyone should just defer to him. His almost violent opposition to any opinion or idea I have ever posted is pretty evident of a large hater-on.

So when one of your double digit iq friends can't take care of their own debates, they call in Pickles?
It's amazing to me that you have no opinion on any subject except to insult people you don't like. Sorry, that makes you one of the biggest trolls on here.
Oh and I can read at a much higher level than your collection of fat girl books(twilight, harry potter) so whenever you lump me in with someone you(and most everyone here) constantly insult for no other reason than he's a fan of Sprint, your " I like you better than him" comment means squat. Hell I like you better than Stroker, but that only means I would actually piss on you if you were on fire. I'd just let Stroker burn. Lucky you.

Seriously, man? Claiming the lad reads "fat girl books"??? Thank you providing a list of qualified books. 🙄
I think Pickles' criticism of DiamondPro is valid. He never once trashed him for being a fan of Sprint, he's trashing him because Diamond's positions on ANYTHING are militantly pro-Sprint and often borderline retarded. For example, it can be an article about Verizon imposing data caps, and he'll pop off with "sPRinT DOeSN't dO tHAt!!!" every chance. Do yourself a favor and don't align yourself with DiamondPr...

Yeah you are the very definition of internet forum troll....

I align with myself. Not one of you people matter. 90% of the time your opinions on the wireless industry are no more than the typical Stroker Aze "it's not true it's not true" variety. The other 10% is blind brand loyalty.

The debate was with Stroker, not with his 400lb farmville girlfriend. But since he hyperventalates at the thought of being wrong about something, I guess they called in the PINCH hitter. If I were a sales rep I would be totally with you on this guys, I really would. The only problem is I work in a call center for T-Mobile but NOT in sales. I work in a department that basically fixes all the issues with orders and exchanges customers phones when the sales rep did a poor job figuring out what phone the really even wanted. Problem is, I don't think they will really have much need for my department if this merger happens. Me personally, I am NOT good at making sales.

And as someone who has been trained in sales to a great extent for many years under Tom Hopkins, Zig Ziglar, Jim Rohn etc... I am pretty confident that I've learned a great deal about what sales are, how the profession works and the moral obligation you have to your customers.

As a professional salesperson you have to believe in what you are selling.

If you don't believe in what it is you are selling, if you don't have the confidence to own the product yourself or with a good conscious recommend the product to your friends and family, or, if you do not feel like the product is actually benefiting your customers what separates you from the common scam artist ripping people off?

The only product I believed in was Alltel. I never had a problem selling Verizon, AT&T, SunCom, whatever. The people are buying me not the product. Becoming emotionally invested in the product I am selling is an alien concept. If I sell the product right and am honest then even when I was selling SunCom once my customers were invested in me they stuck with me despite the inferior network.

One of the most important skills used in obtaining success, is the ability to adapt to change. With the wireless industry being one of the fastest paced in these changes, you've already limited yourself to a volatile situation with your statement. The economic recession already has enough victims of circumstance. Don't become a statistic.

I think taking care of your family is more important than making a rash judgement of quitting just because you don't want Sprint as your check writer.

I'm going on a hunch and say that you've been sitting behind the TMO desk for too long. I have never had the honor to work for a carrier such as yourself. but I have many friends and family that do. I have not once heard anyone I know, complain that works for Sprint.

On your profile, you claim to want to make TMO number one. Isn't this a great step to help meet that goal? If they become larger profiles, won't this be better for your bottom line? TMO will never be number one nor will Sprint. The larger two carriers have just about eliminated any chance for TMO or Sprint as a single ent...
