MetroPCS Mulling All Options to Increase Capacity
Types of LTE networks?

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! METRO HAS THEIR OWN NATIVE COVERAGE FOR THE LAST TIME!
THANK YOU...SAY IT AGAIN FOR THOSE THAT DIDN'T HEAR YOU RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! METRO IS BIG HERE IN DETROIT...IF SOME PEOPLE DID A WEE BIT OF RESEARCH THEY WOULD RECOGNIZE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A REGIONAL CARRIER AND AN MVNO ๐คจ
Every company out there roams on another company at some point. MetroPCS and Cricket routinely share networks in many areas since they rarely overlap.
Please read your statement and think about what you said.
P.S. Roaming means using another carriers network.

So Metro's LTE network is a different type from Verizon's?
MetroPCS is deploying LTE in its current PCS 1900 MHz and/or AWS 2100+1700 MHz licensed spectrum. This is different from VZW, which is deploying LTE in new Upper/Lower 700 MHz spectrum. Additionally, as MetroPCS has to share this spectrum w/ its CDMA1x & EV-DO deployments, MetroPCS is using small bandwidth LTE channels, probably 1.4 MHz, the smallest standardized bandwidth. Conversely, VZW is most likely using 3, 5, or 10 MHz bandwidth LTE channels.
