They are probably have trouble with manufactures putting wimax into the equation. Microsoft and Hp said they have no plans for wimax. This could mean Sprint has to pay an additional premium to get them to produce a wimax version thus driving up the cost of new wimax phones. Which doesn't look like a bad idea if verizon is charging 300.00 for the thunderbolt. That's the only reason I can think of that makes logical sense. Wimax 2 is ready and has the support of Samsung and Motorola. Sprint just needs to make a smart long term decision. Cool
