Americans say free trade, free trade.... Open your markets blah blah blah. Guess its another typical "do as we say, not as we do" scenario. Just like everything else you do. And then you wonder why the world laughs at you...

If you follow our news, you'd realize that free trade has been long gone. See:Net Neutrality.

you guys each make a good point. free trade is gone as is net neutrality. we live in a greedy country who sees dollar signs. on tv all you see is commercials for lawyers "make them pay!" "sue sue sue!" which brings me to my next point.

Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number o...

Hey. Genius. Apparently you haven't noticed our eleventy-trillion dollar trade deficit with China.

Thanks for laughing, though--we laugh at everyone right back.

The trade deficit exists because americans can't make anything people want to buy, not because of it being restricted.

The difference between the world laughing at you and you laughing at it? You laugh alone....

Seriously? Your generalization is offensive.

The trade deficit exists due to the low cost of production of goods in China versus the much higher cost of American-made goods. You know, since our laborers are paid extremely well in comparison.

As far as Americans not making anything anybody wants, that's funny, since the 2nd and 4th largest automotive manufacturers are American, and I'm pretty sure Apple, Microsoft, Google, Motorola,IBM, HP, Exxon Mobil, Facebook, Wal-Mart, Disney, Pepsi, Coca-Cola are American. But, uhhhh... no one is interested in those things, right? Just like the American inventions of the lightbulb, telegraph, telephones, all the way to computers, and oh yeah - the internet. Too bad those things didn't catch on.

Apple, IBM, HP, Wal-Mart, and probably Disney all have their manufacturing in China.

Facebook's sole revenue source is advertsing. It doesn't "make" anything.

Exxon-Mobil makes money off oil in foreign countries, but it still doesn't "make" anything in the US.

Pepsi and Coca-Cola I'm not sure about.

My generalization is offensive, but you are sure america has saved my country sometime. Again, typical american. Do as I say, not as I do. Call me out for generalizing and then make a generalization based on NO facts. At least mine had some factual basis. Yours was based on no knowledge, like most american opinions, because you don't even know where I am from. Typical american.

Yes, Wal Mart has made such a huge contribution to the world. Keep slaves working in china so fat lazy americans can buy more throw away junk they don't need.
