I actually had a HTC Eris and even a Samsung Fascinate on their system...works great. However, the data is limited and you will run through it within a day. Stick with VZW of you actually want to use the phones for what they can do, but, if you have wifi at home and you just want to use it to download the apps every now and then...its a great value.
