vzw is already testing VoLTE and seem to have a much different timeline laid out than our friends at AT&T. It seems to me that AT&T is waiting for vzw customers to be the guinea pigs so they can launch their own VoLTE service after all the kinks have been worked out by vzw. That's kinda always been AT&T's way of doing things, so it's not too surprising.

I think AT&T is wise to allow Verizon to test the waters first. Once Verizon does so, AT&T can learn from any glitches Verizon may encounter and should benefit from roaming as well. Nice move.

🙂 Does kind of make sunse, but then again we could say the same thing for the Iphone 4. Att had it first, vzw saw all of the glitches and still went after it to satisfy the customer. But guess what same issues. So yes it does make sense to do it this way. Plus in this industry one does it, then the next one comes along and does it a little bit better. Like the plans for instance

Well if they wait till its something rally popular, then they are gonna look like copy cats, but oh well, i guess that just how business works, they just added the Sprint "call any mobile" thing, so i guess they don't mind being copy cats, lol

T-Mobile was already using Android and seem to have had a much different timeline laid out than our friends at Verizon. It seems to me that Verizon is waiting for T-Mobile customers to be the guinea pigs so they can launch their own Android phones after all the kinks have been worked out by T-Mobile.
