Manual

I was one of those who waited a long while for a Sprint Bluetooth phone; I ordered it Monday and received it Tuesday.

It seems to work well, but I'm very disappointed in the quality of the manual. There are supposed "features", like functioning as a speaker phone, which I can't figure out how to activate. Other standard features (like call waiting) have a preference that appears to need to activated, but there is no documentation as to how to enable.

I've searched both the Sprint and Sony Ericsson sites, and all they have is a PDF version of the printed manual.

Does anyone know where a full manual is? Or does anyone know what I'm missing on activating these features?

I agree and had the same thought about the manual.

To activate the speakerphone, while placing a call press the preference button (just above the 1) you will see speakerphone as item 1.

I am trying to pair the bluetooth with the BMW bluetooth system but they don't pick up the bluetooth signal?

Thanks for the response on the speakerphone...that works!!

I had emailed Sprint the same question...and the response I got from them was:

"I understand you wish to activate the speaker on your phone and ....

The steps for activating the speaker on your phone are not mentioned in the User's Guide for your phone. To receive assistance in this regard, please visit the nearest Sprint Store..."

Since the phone is not sold in stores, I seriously doubt they will be much help...and I still think they should have comprehensive documentation on what all of the menu functions mean and how they work!!!

thanks for your help, though.

If I'm remembering right, "readylink" is sprint's "push to talk" technology...if that's right, then the answer is, no, this phone is not readylink capable...

It's big benefit is Bluetooth.

last night on the phone with sprint asking about things that aren't in the skimpy booklet provided with the phone, the operator read me passages from a much larger user guide.

I went to Sony Ericsson web site and found it. I don't have the URL now but look on the product page, find the phone and then click Manuals. You can download it.

The book contains everything.

Here are the links:

or if that doesn't work then do this:

http://www.sonyericsson.com/us/spg.jsp?page=start »

In the search window type T608 manual and you should get 1 of 1 results back and that's the page to download the manuals.
