I have always thought that a partnership was bad if it created direct competition to one another. Sprint needs to move forward without having to worry about Clearwire. I supported the partnership to push the WiMAX initiative. But returning to Nextel fever, would become another detriment.

I agree. You all known I've been very vocal about Sprint and Clear. But this should be good for Sprint. The less bricks on Sprint's back the better and lord knows they've got plenty. Nextel to name a few

I never understood why or how Clear was able to compete anyway... with as much capital that Sprint has pumped into Clear it just seems just plain wrong. I'm glad that Clear fell on its face and struck out on its own now maybe they can focus on what they were being paid to do, developing the WiMax network and not biting the hand that feeds them.

I like that. Clear concentrate on deploying WiMax, Sprint concentrates on selling it.
