Can AT&T mess their system up any more than they have in the past 2 years. I agree they are going to lose a lot more customers then they ever imagined. Why is it that they needed to be the ONLY company to use a different porting company...KUDOS to the others, Ba-bye AT&T...hope Cingular eats you whole! 😳

Funny, didn't it state Nightfire, and TSI, not its own systems? Hmm, thought so. Do your research before spouting off, kiddo.

First, AT&T wireless was the first company to initiate compliance with the new portability laws. They chose one company, and months later all of the other companies picked someone else after they realized that dragging their feet and filing appeals wasn't going to delay the inevitable any longer. Verizon was the leader in the legal battle against LNP. They only spoke out in support of it after they lost all of their appeals. As for "Cingular eating AT&T whole" there is a probable merger in the near future, which would benefit both companies, and would subsequently leave Verizon in proverbial dust. 😉
