Verizon DOES have this already

I'm in Texas, and Verizon offers free talk and text to any mobile for $59.99. I can't remember which markets it's in, but I know it's Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana for sure.

That's an old article, but there was an ad in the paper Sunday marketing it to about 5 different states.

Vzw does not do this at all. It is not in any brochure they produce. They have it as a promo plan for long time customers, but they have to offer it to you. You cant walk in and say i want that plan. Not a nation wide offer yet

OK you're right... So the full-page in the newspaper, the billboards in Texas, the brochures and signs at the kiosks are all hallucinated by me. Plus, the link I provided was completely fake.

"Available July 30 through October 31, 2010, the Unlimited Any Mobile plan includes unlimited text messages and Friends and Family option on eligible plans. This special promotion builds on the Nationwide Talk and Text plans announced earlier this year"

How about you go acquire some reading comprehension skills, and THEN you can start posting on the internets with the big boys. Nobody said any of your info was fake. But it's outdated, and completely irrelevent. Not even a valid offer anymore for the select cities.

Apparently, you're the one with the reading comprehension skills. This is what I said at the bottom of my first post:

"That's an old article, but there was an ad in the paper Sunday marketing it to about 5 different states."

Yeah, but it was a limited shot offer. It's not even offered anymore. That's like one of those plans that if you activate it within a certain range of dates, you get a bonus 200 minutes. It's not a solid offer.

I said that it was in this Sunday's newspaper being offered to about 5 states, IIRC. It no longer has an expiration date.

I wonder if they'll offer it nationwide now?

Or not, since they don't NEED to compete anymore.... I'm so glad I'm not giving them my money anymore.

Two bills isn't bad depending on how many lines you have. I've seen much worse. My friend has three lines with VZW, and last I checked, he was paying around 300 dollars.

I have 5 lines plus an aircard. Everyone on my plan has unlimited everything. My total monthly bill is roughly 250 dollars. I haven't found a better price in postpaid.

Three lines. Having signed up a bunch of family and friends when I worked there the bulk of my calls are mobile-to-mobile. Leaving would inconvenience them. Plus the grandfathered data and tethered plans which are uncapped on my Incredible.

Thank God for Grandfathered plans.

I understand the inconvenience. It definitely can be a hassle. My Parents are almost 80 now and I reluctantly managed to switch them to Sprint. They are on a fixed income. They fought me tooth and nail. Since they switched, they have saved enough to at least make it worth while.

And where do you think they got it from? Sprint has had this for a while now. Verizon has it in a few states but Sprint already has this nationwide. I use an unbelievable amount of any mobile anytime mins. 😎

Yes. Sprint has had this for quite sometime though Simply Everything is still the best plan out there.
