The Echo is obviously not what the event is for. Phones like this barely receive a mention. We will just have to wait and see I guess what the announcement truly is about. Bloomberg has never broke any timely tech news of any sort, including this "news."

So do you think we'll still see the Dual Screen Android Tab as the rumors have been circulating around and about the web?

Hard to tell.... I'm guessing something with 4G? I keep hearing something about 3D and that would kinda jive with the magic theme.... There's so many possibilities and Sprint seems to keep coming up with pretty solid hits, so I'm very anxious to see what it will be! I'm eligible for an upgrade! I know it's gonna be something cool...

I'm guessing it maybe the LG dual core Processor device with 3D screen which you have heard about.

i couldn't care less about 3d on my phone. it is known however that lg and vmware are working on a dual core smartphone which would run both android and w7. that would be my hope.

My need for a 3D phone is minimal as well. However, the younger generation that is into "Cool", may culminate an interest in the technology.

Yes. I do see where running multiple OS platforms from one device would be rather diversified, but I worry about cost and cross fragmentation between both platforms. What is your opinion?

as powerful as the next generation of smartphones will be with dual and then quad core processors, running a virtual OS within a host as vmware does should be very easy. the guest OS as W7 is in the lg/vmware smartphone is run as an app within android.
