If Sony is planning to release Playstation games for all android handsets running v2.3 then why this phone? I'm pretty sure this phone will fail. They should just concentrate on making the software for android work well....

You don't get what? If an avid gamer is looking for a phone, then this would be it. Sure, they'll has PS games for 2.3's but what kind of control input limitations would you face? This phone addresses that for the consumers that place a higher importance on gaming...
