i suggest you wait!
this phone might have defective hspa+
i have not seen one video anywhere showing this htc inspire able to do REAL hspa+ speeds!
my samsung captivate with regular hspa get better (higher) speeds!

How I "interpreter the video?
I never seen 1 video with download over 3mb, and upload never over 380kb.
My Samsung captivate with regular hspa gets better (higher) speeds!

If you want HSPA+ or 4G go with another carrier. AT&T is 7.2 Mbps T-Mobile at least waited until they had 14.4 Mbps before they started calling it 4G. Take a look at the Cliq 2 it's rated at 10.1 Mbps and it isn't even considered a 4G phone by T-mobile, and it's brand new.

I am not trying to bash AT&T here. I have my reasons not to like them but those don't matter in this discussion. My main point is that with AT&T, right now, it doesn't make much of a difference between 3G and 4G. They have decent speeds anyways. Not the best in the industry and not the worst (at least for now.) We'll see what happens as Verizon transitions and AT&T begins launching higher speed HSPA+
