Facebook Squashes 'HTC Facebook Phone' Reports

A Facebook phone would be nothing more than a vehicle for directed advertising. I ran an add for PhoneCan early this month, and many people might be surprised to learn how you can fine-tune the demographics of your add. A FB-branded mobile device would be all about extending these demographics, with the added "bonus" of everybody and their mother typing "WTF" and clicking "LIKE."
