FCC Says Public Safety Network Must Use LTE
This solidifies things I guess
If people had doubts about the longevity of LTE as the replacement to GSM and other network technology, this might just hammer that point home. It's expensive to transition a whole infrastructure to a new technology - unless you know it's going to be around.
