The people have a right and a duty to regulate the conduct of business. Your narrow, shortsighted, and frankly wrong interpretation of the constitution would exclude anti trust laws, interstate commerce laws and other principles that have been part of the American fabric since the west was settled. And by the way, have you ever heard of an easement? People cannot always do whatever they want with private property.
