T-Mobile USA Considering Asset Sale
Maybe if they spent more time investing in 3G coverage

T-Mobile would blow the competition out of the water if they would just start expanding their 3G coverage faster. I don't see the roll outs anymore. They seem to be ignoring the smaller markets that is why I have ported my line over to Sprint. It's a tough move considering I've been a customer with T-Mobile for nearly seven years. The reality is that Sprint has much better 3G coverage.
I completely agree. T-Mobile does NOTHING for the smaller markets and that is where the other carriers beat them. T-Mobile needs to understand that if they would cover more than just big cities they would do a LOT better.
Are you on crack?
Omnipoint then Voicestream then T-Mobile USA
They had GSM while Verizon and AT&T at the time were still on AMPS and not even on TDMA yet.

Exactly. They just suck. As far as cell towers not growing on trees, cell towers are the bread and butter of a cell provider. If they cant supply those, then the fact is they cannot compete.
AT&T and Verizon are each more than 100 years, Sprint is more than 80 years old.
Do you really think that 'less than 20 years' and 'more than a century' are equivalent>
It you think that's an old, established company compared to the American telecoms, the youngest of which dates from the 1920's you're nuts.
At least they can make them look like trees! 😁
