RIM Preparing New Business Features for BlackBerries
This is good for RIM
I agree, I have carried both a BB and an iPhone. One for work, one for play. When the Torch came out I consolidated my two devices. You absolutely cannot beat BB's for buisiness use, and its great to see RIM solidifying their position for business users. ...though I'd like to see them announce other things as well, like a "me-too" consumer friendly device to bolster overall sales...

The Storm 3 (hopefully they drop the Storm name - it brings back too many bad memories) looks like it will be a solid device when/if it ever materializes. I want them to say "okay. here's our primo device. expect it Q3. here are the specs." so i can rest at night knowing that I won't have to cheat on RIM again to get my "fun" device...

They might be the future, only time will tell. However iOS & Android do not have the security feature such as a BES that Blackberry users have. That is why banking security companies use more Blackberry's than any other device.
I agree, Blackberry's are not really designed for the consumer. Yes, the browser is really slow. That being said, they are really easy to use for people who want the occasional ability to go online, check emails & text. Along with tethering their device to a computer.(Not saying that other devices cannot do the same) I take nothing away from iOS or Android. To say Blackberry is doomed ,when I sell more Bla...

Did you ACTUALLY read my whole post???? I was saying that the lack of -other- people making those kinds of comments was refreshing. Clearly I ditched my iPhone to use a BlackBerry exclusively, hence I do not believe that they are doomed. I sell BlackBerries at least 4:1 over iPhone and Android combined to corporate customers. The phone I move the most of by a LONG shot is the Torch.
