My CDMA phones are all flashed. Rather than let corporate mentality dictate how I own a phone and pay out the !!@X$ for taxes and fees, I have the option to go with an MVNO.

You get what you pay for. Oh, and those "MVNO" are still considered corporate - especially Virgin Mobile and Boost which both run off of Sprint, and TracPhone that runs off of Verizon (among others).
