It's really to give the carrier an optimal experience because then instead of upgrading their network to accommodate more and more people, they can just restrict the users for their laziness sake.

errr i think your the one that has zero knowledge about life, you fail to see that the gov't regulates bandwidth, frequency etc. and you can really only work within those limits. plus current technology even the best ones have limits on how much data it could handle just like in a LAN if somebody is downloading something like a movie more often than not the experience of the other users are negatively affected. so im sorry but i dont think thats propaganda and again please don't hit on people just because of their minor mistakes in grammar mr.perfect...sheesh

At least it's a soft cap. I rarely reach the 5GB level, but it's nice to know they won't just shut me off or charge me more.

At least it's only $40. Maybe Metro will offer an LTE plan for less or the same in the near future.
