Disappointed...

😢 So Verizon gets a second-hand copy of the iPhone with a lesser feature set just so taht they can grab a market segment fast.

If they HAD learned from past experience, they would realize that the features are what makes it a more attractive option. I would rather have waited a bit longer and gotten an LTE Verizon iPhone. Guess I will be sticking with my Droid til Apple gets their "stuff" together.

What other features is it lacking from the AT&T version besides simaltaneous data and voice? Notice Verizon also adds the hotspot feature to it? I'd take that over data/voice any day.

All I know is... nice knowing you AT&T, this is going to hit them like a wrecking ball.

Voice and data really isn't that big of an argument where the iPhone is concerned, considering the biggest die-hard iPhone supporters claimed that they used wifi all the time anyway, and therefore could live with AT&T's network issues. Since this device picks up wifi, it should support voice and data simultaniously in a wifi coverage area, to the extent that iOS supports it.

If you really want voice and data, you might want to consider an LTE smartphone. They will also allow you to use video chat without having to be in a wifi area. Also, they can watch flash videos online, which the iphone still (and most likely always will) lack.

As long as Jobs is in control, iPhone/iPad/iThatThingy will not get Flash because then that would make Jobs a liar and his ego wouldn't like that very much.
