I mean, after buying her an Blackberry storm, an original Droid, a Palm Pre, and finally a Galaxy S I can't stand it anymore.

All she wants, and all she has wanted since we've been dating is an iPhone.

Not because she loves Apple, or is in some way a huge follower of any sort of crowd. She wants an iPhone because it always seems to outperform her phone. She wants to sync with her iTunes, watch netflix, download the Apps that I have that she can't onto her android device.

She wants her phone to be simple, fast, easy to use but very full-featured.

You ask who cares?

She does, as well as the projected 14 million people who will be getting an iPhone on Verizon this year alone.

Android does all that you stated but iTunes.

It does. I agree, and it does it well.

Except for Netflix, the retina display, iTunes sync and having an easy full down-to-the-last text message backup of your phone Android does everything the iPhone does.

But Android isn't quite as dead simple as the iPhone. It's not quite as stable of an OS as iOS is either. She hates the lagginess of the OS in general and sometimes gets confused when she is trying to do something on her Galaxy that she had no problem doing with her Droid 1.

And honestly, the aesthetics of iOS blows Android out of the water. The smooth, fast transitions and the incredibly high definition screen as well as the over-all look of the phone is pretty outstanding.

She wants the iPhone, she uses mine all the time...

You work for T-Mobile, right? So am I correct in stating that you (or your girlfriend) have never handled a Droid X or even an Evo?

Android does have Netflix, the Droid Bionic will come preloaded with it. The new 4G phone being released by Samsung has a display BETTER than Retina (you are aware that Samsung made that display, not Apple, right?). I can't say much about the backup as I have never done that...I just know that all my apps and contacts are synced up with Google so when I switch devices my contacts are already there and my apps are already available for redownload in a special tab for items I've purchased. That is good enough for me.

I'm not understanding your argument about stability and lagginess? My Droid X has never cras...

Most definitely is.

Like button? I'm all for that. There are MANY times I would rather just 'like' it than respond. Damn Facebook has me conditioned!

😁

yeah..
maybe we can request phonescoops' admin to add that feature here..

it would be gun..

yesterday when i was reading ps' article about iphone on verizon, i can't help but wonder why it took 4 years for that phone to be available to diff carrier..

is it because at&t did a good job keeping their contract with apple
or it's apple move to find other carriers because at&t sucks..
what do you think? haha
