Do you think that it will be able to be jailbroken and unlocked to use on other cdma networks such as Sprint, US Cellular, Cricket, and MetroPcs?

It may be possible if Sprint were willing to accept it on their network, but not likely.

The problem is that the two issues are intertwined. It is only possible to use a CDMA phone on another carrier's network if that carrier is willing to allow the ESN / MEID to be activated on their network. There is nothing an end user can do on a CDMA phone to "unlock" it to another carrier.

Yes. If a carrier were willing to load the MEID into its data base and the carrier in question uses Rev A for data then I believe it would work. Otherwise you'd have a cool phone to talk on.

As of now, not possible w/ Sprint. It's not going to be a situation where you can call and talk them into it either... Sprint only activates phones made for thier network. The activation process requires you give the devices ESN, and will only accept what is preloaded in the system... Won't happen... Especially in Sprint's case, we don't want to activate a phone for you that we can't help to support...

95% is True of what you said, but Sprint will add esn's into the database if it not preloaded (as long as its a sprint device), if you don't believe me just send and email to sprints TRV Escalation department.
