So my question if that is such a great ideal why can I go to walmart ask the simplest of a questions then be told that they just sell the phone having no ideal on functionally or anything! People like to be shown the operations of their phones (I know that I do!!!). It's not going to good for those working there in the kiosks that have families and/or themselves to support. I believe an agreement should be meant to ensure the same expertises to continue never had a question, while shopping at Sam's Communication centers, that couldn't be answered (same question that was asked to Wal-Mart wireless associates). So in closing I wish them all of the luck if that is how they feel but will probably start shopping elsewhere do to this fact very hea...

Have no worries, all "worthwhile" SCK employees will be moving into Target or RS locations. I have hundreds of loyal customers that will follow me wherever I go (thats what happens when you do right by people).
Remember when there used to be TV salespeople? Mobile phones will soon no longer need salespeople either. Prepaid offers are now way better than contract offers and they just hang on a rack. lol
Oh and FYI, the Target program expansion has been scheduled for 6-8 months and is not in response to this transition.

Good luck! Now there is really no reason to go into Sams with you guys gone..

I can't believe that they don't get it all they seeing is $ but once they realize why the money was there they will be begging rs to come back once they see their profit drops really sorry to say! Go in there now to see about TVs and half the time the person who is suppose to be doing it whole other department and/or they don't have no one schedule which is wow!!! Great customer service they will do so well!!!!

Do they need the sames to stay at RS's levels?
I mean, if sales drop fifty percent, but they no longer have to split the revenue with another company, aren't they still money ahead?
...
Not saying they wont do well im just saying with rs in sams they didnt have any investment in the industry which mean there were no losses for walmart even if the store didnt handle business properly and failed to make a profit for the year walmart still made a decent profit from every store whether they made money or lost money so it was a win win for both parties now they will be at risk to lose money with charge backs and all that good stuff. But they do know what they are getting into cause of wal mart kiosks so we will see how they do.

i would guess sams club and walmart have such a grip on the carriers, their chargebacks will be 30days not 180 like just about everyone else. im almost positive when i worked there, it was 30days for sprint..and i wanna say 14 days for tmo and i cant remember what att/cingular was but i think it was 30. so basically it was the return period.
like everyone else has said, sams runs with such low man power through out the day, they wont ever have someone available for the wireless dept. and when someone gets called over, they will be from produce or somewhere.
...
IDK why anyone would go into sams club or even walmart to set up service. All you have to do is look at the people they hire and realize do i really want to give that person all the personal info and every time a walmart or sams club rep calls me they have no idea what they are doing. IF you want to go to a third party go to best buy or radioshack.

are you serious...its not like sams club came up to RS today and told them they were getting the boot. of course the target deal is in response to this. they've known for a long time sams wasnt going to renew.
