Hands-On: Samsung Infuse 4G

I started to get realy excited about the size of this phone at first. The Captivate's screen is bigger than the "legendary" iphone at 4". The Evo is even bigger at 4.3". This is even bigger at 4.5"! It sounds amazing, but remember that screens are measured diagonally. So, when you put the Infuse beside the Captivate (only difference is the screen size) it's not that impressive. It's half an inch larger diagonally, but you are really only getting about 1/8" wider, and 3/16" taller (I eyeballed it, so someone who's into trig can give exact measurements). As far as being bigger than the evo, it's almost impreceptable... Impreceivable? Un-noticable. *shrug*

All I'm saying is if you have a captivate, it's really not that exciting of an upgrade. If you are coming from something like an aria however, it's huge- But based on price point, probably not a great investment over the captivate.

Now, the big question is will the GPS work?!? >:[
