My iphone 4 doesn't send texts to the wrong people! I mean come on people, stop your hating! You don't have an iphone 4 because you hate everything apple. Stick to your Sprint Evo 4g crap with ****ty battery life. Alarm clock doesn't ring for two days..HA...artards.. 👿

Hating? Are you upset because you got to work late this morning? And I don't like Android OS. 🙂

Ok, simmer down now.

No one brought up anything anti-Apple, since you were the first to post on this article. But, since you're bringing it up, there's a much larger security issue that Apple needs to correct. Take you password protected iPhone an hook it up to a Linux PC. Watch as you get unfettered access to any photos or documents on the device. True, there is no access to contacts or SMS, but this is a good reason not to use an iPhone for sensitive business matters.

And BTW, I do not hate the iPhone. Apple I take issue with, but not the iPhone.

You do have very good points about access to the iphone when connected, there are built in security measures on the iPhone OS4 system that will not allow access though. But of course most "users" of an Android or Palm, and IOS4 users probably wouldn't activate them. More than likely because of stupidity.

I noticed that it seems to be resolved in 4.2.1, at least. However, it was on an iPhone I had just jailbroken and unlocked using that interesting iPad baseband hack. I assumed that it was something about the hack that blocked my access, as there was no password set on the device at that point. I'll probably never buy an iPhone, but at least they're stepping up the security. It only took them a year and change.

i thought the main selling point of the iphone, and apple products in general, is its user friendliness... so how does choosing palm and android stupid? lol
please stop hating =)

P.S. i love all of them i believe the multitasking on palm's webos is topnotch, and a lot of implementations on this os was copied/imitated on android and ios, and androids access to a lot of exciting new ideas almost everyday really is nice.

Its called an extended battery, oh yea iPhone can't do that. 🤣 I never had a problem with sms, and if I did, I could download any of the handful of messaging apps available in the market. 😎
