Right. Because you're going to get 4G or nothing.

Still a lot of Metro haters. I just took a road trip to the panhandle over New Years. That new roaming agreement gave me coverage just about everywhere.

No Metro hate here. I think they're a great alternative. I was just pointing out that if you don't get 4G in your area, you'll have to deal with 1xRTT. I don't think there's any 3G to fall back on anywhere. They went straight from 2G to 4G.

This is so not true; all Metro LTE phones can and will work on the PCS netowrk or roaming whenever LTE is not available.

I just spent my vacation in Houston last week with my Metro LTE Samsung Craft...talk, text, and web worked fine.

I was referring to 4G data. If you're not in a 4G area, you're going to have to deal with 1xRTT.

it should be comparable to other company's low end 3g speeds if what people are saying is accurate.

The plan is also really confusing. it claims unlimited web/youtube, but then the $50 plan gives 1gb of additional data.

It should be interesting to see what they count as non-web data, no?

I would agree, the additional data may be tethering or something of that nature. It's all still too new to know for sure.
