Actually, the real appeal here is for Android-based tablet/slate devices. As a technician, we will be experimenting with paperless service work. We will recieve our service calls through our galaxy tablets. When we complete the work, we will enter what we did. We will show the customer what we did then have them sign the tablet. We will send the information wirelessly to the printers in our trucks then present the receipt to the client.

A stylus is the missing ingredient needed to have them sign.

Definitely sounds like just one of the many awesome posibilities that could come of this. From a consumer standpoint, art capabilities would be very cool. Drawing or even better yet photo editing capabilities. Handwriting recognition is also very popular with most people.

To slammer, one option for now would be to print the reciept wirelessly then have the customer sign the hard copy.
