i think you should have switched off the 4G to see what the drop off is on those networks because most people don't live in 4G or they may go in and out of 4 to 3G. plus i was curious if you would have experienced the 2 minute wait time for verizon LTE to 3G that has been reported. i have a AT&T built in card on my laptop which my company provides and i do test speeds average between 3.5 to 4.5 peak of 5. plus i am sure traffic has alot to do with all of the test and where you live.

The test was about their "4g" networks. ATT was included because it's one of the big four even though they don't make a 4g claim about their hspa+ tech.

Verizon/sprint's 3g will be slower than att's. that's not an issue. However, their 3g is much faster than edge. But 3g and 2g arn't being covered here.

unlike Verizon's LTE and Sprint's wimax however, Att and Tmobiles cards don't tell you which highspeed 3g network you're on, which is why he couldn't list what was their highspeed network and what was 3g.

That is a fault of Tmobile and ATT, not of the test.

so basically at&t should not have even been included since they don't make a 4G claim. Also 3G is being compared here but to others 4G. i was thinking what would be there fall back to the rest of us that dont have 4G. but really every city is gonna be different. so the test is useless unless you live in that area. where i live no one is close to 4G and everyone but tmobile has 3G ( tmobile is unavailable). my company laptop does tell me that i am connected to 7.2Mbps so i guess i assumed others did. maybe everyone should do there own test in there area.
