What about multitasking and cut and paste. Not that I use WP7 myself as that's pretty obvious but for the people who do use it. I think they would more concerned about that over tiles

Owners of Windows Phone 7, like myself. Before you go bashing me, just know that I've owned the original Android phone and had to go through the "no apps" taunts from Apple fans for a few years.

The tiles are OK, but the Zune features are the greatest. I LOVE being able to DL albums to my phone, then sync to the computer later, THEN sync to the Zune. I hate the fact that we dont have copy/paste, but the Sidekick went through the same thing up until JUST before sidekick 2. It'll come in January.

Microsoft has already said that copy and paste is coming and it's already in the newer development kits. As far as multitasking. Microsoft is limitiing things so they can deal with issues that may come up one at a time. Even when you beta test things you don't always catch all the bugs. I'm glad Microsoft is changing things up. Hopefully the phone makers will put together hardware that works (Dell/HTC) I really wanted to be an early adopter but Between Dell's Venue Pro not being in stores and the HD7's camera issue and no hardware keyboard I'm gonna stick to my TP2 until I have my full upgrade. From what I've played with so far and have seen in the Zune App market I like what I see.

Good point, I remember when Android didnt even have apps lol. I still think Android is far behind with its scrolling through menus. Not very smooth like iPhone and WP7.

Geezus. Is that all you Android fanboys worry about? Copy & paste? Microsoft has already said it's coming.

It's like a parrot squawking incessantly. "COPY AND PASTE! COPY AND PASTE! RRAWWWKK!"

When have I ever needed copy & paste on a smartphone? Answer: never. Will it be nice to have it when it arrives? Sure.

I love it when someone text messages me an address and I can copy/paste it into google maps. Same with names, websites, and other information.

You and everyone else that gripe about copy and paste (the least of my worries and yes I use WP7) are going to look pretty stupid when they have it next month.

I don't know why everyones arguing here. WP7 is destined for failure anyway. Like webOS, it was just too late I'm afraid. 2011 will be about iOS and Android.

To say that WP7 is 'too late' is to say that the smartphone market is going to remain exactly the same it is today until the end of time, which is ridiculous.

There is no such thing as arriving 'too late' to a market.
