I am also annoyed that there is no Mac support... I hate ebony treated like a second class citizen.

But, Apple-ites are second class citizens...

I thought that there is no Mac support and yet the picture clearly shows the modem attached to a macbook pro. so what is the deal with that.

No support merely means that if there is an issue with the device that there is no tech support representatives available to troubleshoot issues with Mac. So if he were to call in they would say let's try to install it on a PC. If it worked on the PC then they would be finished. If not they would get it working on the PC and stop there.

Also for those of us with reading comprehension...he says he installed the software on his Windows 7 partition on the mac book.

ok first things first, no this device is not supported by the mac osx. To clarify this does not mean that there are technical issues that cant be solved by tech support, this means that there are not drivers that have been made to make the mac computer communicate with the hardware... i.e. you plug it in and it does absolutely nothing.
