MP3/AAC Over Bluetooth Possible

You can add music to the handsets onboard memory via Bluetooth. AAC+ files are the best files to use as space is limited.

Furthermore, purchased ringtones do not expire after 90 days; rather after that time, they are not available on your online Sprint Content Manager...meaning that if you delete the ringer from your handset after 90 days, you cannot re-download it for free. Within the 90 days you can. The 90 day limit is in effect for users of new handsets (so they are not able to just re-download all of their previously purchased content).

thanks for pointing that out, the other mistake is that voicemails are logged in the missed events list.

Well, then it sounds to me like the review is pretty much correct. If you spend money to "buy" a ringtone from Sprint, you should own it.

They have the ability to offer it to you with no time limit at no extra cost or difficulty for them (trust me). The fact that they don't let you do that - and in fact go to extra effort to impose a time limit - means to me that they're not selling you the ringtone to own.

You just said they want to sell you the same ringtone again if you get a new phone. That's not "owning" it. That's renting.

It is a whole lot better than having them delete it off your phone though....

Unless I am not aware, does Verizon and Cingular transfer all of your content to a new handset when you buy it? I don't think so.

This is no different. When you "purchase" the ringtone, you own it on your handset for however long you keep the handset. After 90 days, you simply re=download the content (do any other carriers even have an online content manager to re-download from?).

Verizon would not do that. As far as I know, they don't even have a system to do that. The most they could offer (and only if you made a giant fuss about it) is crediting your account so you could repurchase and redownload the ringers to the new phone.
