T-Mobile Still offering EM+

As and employee I can tell you we are still offering EM+ plans. They caused issues with people calling in for service. Many people didn't understand that the lower price means you buy the phone at full retail. So the plans were removed from the site. If a customer still wants the plans they can call the sales line and request a post paid Even More Plus plan. These plans do still require a credit check as they are POST PAID.

And they are realizing it quickly.

It's unbelievable hard to explain to a customer why they can't get both the inexpensive plan AND the free/discounted phone.

In general, customers are agressive and very determined to get something for nothing.

They are also, in general, very stupid.

Have you ever spoke with a person from the middle east as a sales agent? No? Well let me tell you.... It's what alot of them want. They don't want a contact.... But they don't want to pay any thing to set up the service. Not just them thou. Many people are this way. This is how alot of the rest of the world does things in the mobile industry. The idea isn't bad. Offering it to every body is a bad idea. As you said. People can be retarded! So now the plans are there for an agent to offer but removed from t-mobile.com

This isn't the middle east.

We are used to air conditioning, excessive amounts of fast food and free phones on contract.

Anything short of that is unacceptable.

But can you blame a company ranked 4th as your own profile states, for doing as you say, "working to be number 1." All it is, is an attempt to cover every corner of the market. This may not be the middle east.... But the middle east people do come here... And I say if the US can take a little of the oil money they take from us back in any way at all... let them have a no contact plan.... They are only saving 10 a month. I'm glad the sun there blinded them. 🙂

Wanting to get something for nothing is not 'stupid' it is greedy, there's a difference....

Expecting to actually get it IS stupid.

Unfortunately it isn't because there are way too many companies that are all too willing to comply....

The sad truth is that the reason why people act like whiny little crybabies is because it works, pitching a fit and acting like a jerk DOES get them what they want....

I worked in the wireless industry until August of this year....I quit because I came to realize that I was coming to literally DESPISE the customers, they are so selfish, childish and obnoxious I couldn't deal with it anymore, and the managers tell us 'just say yes, just give them what they want' and I got tired of being forced to reward bad behavior...

'the customer is always right' is such a loathsome mentality....

It IS stupid if you think you are going to get something for nothing from me, however.
