The Sprint network is just as big and reliable as VZW... They have the top 2 rated devices. They have a TRUE 4G network. They charge customers LESS than the competition and OFFER THEM MORE.
Still trying to figure out why you guys are complaining.

please show me what reports say sprints network is just as large and reliable as verizons. on top of that, if sprints network is so great and offers soooo much more, why havent tons of vzw, att and tmobile customers jumped ship? and the funniest thing i think sprint ever did was "any mobile any time," but only while on sprints network and whats the difference between "premium data" and "data," thats like when i goto valvoline and get a premium conventional oil change, its still conventional oil, just with premium next to it, by your logic on the other threads.
Just look at the Coverage maps.

iden? cdma? wimax? which network, sprints runs so many its almost a joke
Do you have a valid argument or just hatespeak?

sounds like the pot calling the kettle black, sprints network in its 3 encarnations has more craters of missing coverage than mickey rourkes face
No. I'm just setting the record straight while you and your buddies live in fantasy land. 🙂
Sprint is Great no matter what your credit score is. Verizon is for drones who like to be overcharged and wanna pay more for less.
Wimax is way faster then hspa+ its like night and day and I cant wait to see what verizons lte plans look like. Sprints Wimax network can handle more then tmobiles hspa+. Worst part about hspa+ is there is no way to tell if your connected to hspa+ at least with Wimax you know when your connected and the speeds increase dramatically...

If Verizon is spread so thin, why are they always rated the largest AND most reliable? 😈
Actually they aren't... they rate THEMSELVES as the best. Independent studies often rank Sprint and Verizon as equal. ATT was even ranked better than VZW in 2008 by one independent testing firm. Have you noticed all the ads about "the network" have dwindled off? It's because they got in trouble for claiming to be the best even though outside firms couldn't confirm their findings. And NO ONE rates them the largest (except VZW of course). VZW IS often ranked best when talking about customer service. Firms like JD Powers rank VZW customer service as best.
Consumer Reports is a joke. The "...

*whats the problem on having anymobile anytime only within the network?(again sprint coverage is not that far in size than that of verizon) whats wrong with that...i dont see any network offering that(well except verizon testing it...lol)
*funny you mention oil change, because there are different motor oil depending on the car im sure you are aware that ferrari owners would not accept just any kind of petrol loaded to their cars. with that said.. that is actually what i usually tell my customers when asked about the $10 premium data...

1. None of us are complaining about Sprint, their service or even the fact that they charge $10 for Premium Data. Many of us are in fact Sprint customers, and pleased (if not ecstatic) with their service and customer support.
Our issue, in keeping with the theme of the original article, is that we were led to believe by Sprint employees that we were paying $10 for 4G data on our phones and that we feel that some of this money should be used to fund Clearwire.
2. Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all offer similar plans at similar price points. Verizon has a $70/month plan nearly identical to Everything Plus (see PhoneScoop article). The AT&T plan you mentioned is available for $70/month with several readily available corpo...

You "sware" you read it in a "manuel"? I don't know Manuel nor do I wish to sware with him...
I will say that Network Engineering is fun. 🙂
1. Everyone here who has an Evo or Epic, where you told the premium data charge was for the phone or the 4G network?
2. Sprint does offer discounts, but I currently have 25% off my AT&T plan and can get the same on Verizon if I choose to. The best discount I was ever offered on Sprint (besides SERO) was 5%.
3. Can you prove that? Here's a good comparison, the prepaid coverage maps cover what is considered native (carrier owned and operated).

I believe Pythagoras was the first to postulate that the Earth was round, not Columbus. Pythagoras beat him to that theory by about 2000 years. 😛
Wheres your proof?
Still no proof I see... Your talking about a network that you have not even used once. How do u know lte is better than wimax? Please explain. Did you actually try out lte and get great lte speeds? Did you even try Wimax?

These may or may not convince you. There is also a great article on networkworld.com, "Has mobile WiMAX been permanently crippled in the 4G technology battle?" which also may not convice you. Truth is Fanboys like you will believe what you want to believe. I'm sure you still have a betamax player and an HD-DVD drive.
I don't understand why you are comparing plans here.

Nobody here is complaining, Sprint is being sued by the SAME COMPANY THAT PROVIDES THAT "TRUE 4G" SERVICE.
I don't understand why you are comparing plans here.
Re-read the article.
1. Sprint is not being sued. No one is being sued. Sprint is bringing arbitrary action against Clear. This is not uncommon when 2 or more companies work together but have an unresolved dispute.
2. 90% of the posts on this article are people trying to dispute the $10 Premium data charge associated with the EVO and Epic based on something completely unrelated but sounds similar enough to get the mob riled up.
You guys are welcome to your opinions about whether or not YOU like Sprint but sooner ...

Facts are this...They have the lowest plans of any contract carrier, they have the 1st "4G" network, and they have 2 of the best RATED phones. That's it.
Sprint is NOT as reliable as Verizon as stated by the same sources that say that Sprint has the best rated phones. LTE, not WiMax, has the best Speed and Latency, and will be used by Verizon and AT&T, not Sprint. AT&T has the ...

Sprint's 3G network delivered a solid connection in 90.5 percent of our 13-city tests. Sprint's average download speed of 808 kbps across 13 cities wasn't flashy (at that speed, a 1MB file downloads in 10 seconds), but dependability is an important asset. The Sprint network performed especially well, both in speed and in reliability, in our test cities in the western part of the United States. 😎

Please provide real world proof that Lte is better than Wimax. Until then keep your false claims to yourself. Your waiting on a network that has no launch date. 🤣 Verizon has its fangirls/Employees on a short leash. I'm enjoying 4g now...

No "Fanboi" as you say. I am free to go to any carrier I choose. I'm Just someone that has a priority of saving money instead of paying for coverage I don't need.
Also, with VZW being the sole most expensive carrier in the industry, one can only assume their LTE will be positioned to fall into this same category.
So while you spend your money on fast cars and cheap women, some of us prefer to direct our finances to what caters to our lif...

So instead of seeing Sprint fans "bragging", what you are actually seeing are Sprint fans DEFENDING Sprint. As the saying goes "don't start none... won't be none". In other words, don't bash Sprint and you won't have to hear someone defending them.
What disturbs me here is that you actually have the nerve to complain about Sprint fans defending themselves. Do you have some sort of inferiority complex you are trying to overcome?
LTE and Wimax are almost identical when it comes to latency. LTE is slightly faste...
