If Clearwire offered Sprint such a competitive advantage and was truly a "faster" and more efficient product why can't they make it a profitable business? you really should stop bashing on carriers like sprint, metro, cricket, boost. it's those options that keep monthly billing tolerable. Let's be honest if verizon and AT&T were the only providers they would just stay with the same pricing. when people don't have the option to switch to an unlimited EVERYTHING plan for 40 bucks the bigger companies have no reason to reduce pricing other than the occasional promotional offer. without these little guys we'd all be paying out our @@@ess for things like data, and text messaging.

I am completely on the side of a company or carrier that can save me money each and every month. So far, the two largest carriers haven't begun to come close to what I save. When I travel, it is usually in major cities. The carrier I have, has been able to provide outstanding service in every city I've been to.
I don't always purchase on hype nor do I always buy into marketing prowness. I research my needs, shop accordingly and subscribe to the tools that fit these needs.

idk some of those regional carriers are ok..but i would rather pay more a month than deal with crickets horrible phones and service...ya they have nice pricing and it keeps the rate plans down a little, but for instance crickets service is horrible. if you got bad credit those regional carriers are good

Which is why they call it choice. Cricket is not for you then you have the option of spending your money with AT&T or VZW if you wish. I just want there to be alternatives to those carriers...for whatever reason.
