I don't understand all this stuff about Clear running out of funds! They have something like 54+ markets, aren't there people paying bills monthly. That's cash flow.

Perhaps the interest from dept that was created in order to build their network footprint is higher then their net income.

^^That would be the correct answer. They would need much more than the small income they currently have to build-out a sizeable footprint. They are super small in the grand scheme of things and are trying to outpace much larger companies at getting 4g nationwide. They are running in a race they can't win.

38 markets at launch by Verizon doesn't seem like a slow rollout to me.

From what I understand VZW will pass what Clear has by the end of the year or soon after? Is this correct?

Well the difference, VZW will open in major markets, while Clear/Sprint had good WiMAX coverage till recently inplaces like Fecesville, AK. They're just NOW rolling out in NYC. I will give them they did do Houston good, but mediocre in Philly and Baltimore.
