I have a factory remote start on a GM vehicle and they don't allow you to drive off without putting the key in the ignition. In fact it turns off after 15 minutes if you don't put your key in.
Great for warming up/cooling down the interior before you get in
Yeah and I'm sure it does wonders for your gas bill as well.
